Yawns, had a long day.

Woke up early for cell at church to replace last fri's pnp.
Hmm, great lesson taught by gideon though.
Talked about humility, and how to recognise that each and everyone is unique and different.
& stuffs like how you and me matter to people around us and how mutually dependent everyone is at some point in life.
Also, had a new insight of what human-giving is.
It is very true that although one person can keep giving willingly without asking for return,
but somehow or another, everyone do need that bit of receiving too.

Moving on, we went for service.
Great sermon by joey as well, was inspired by it.
It was on encouragement.
One of the interesting fact i got to know today is that men, speaks about 7000 words a day, while women, speaks 20,000 words per day!
Haha, true to only some extent for me i guess.
But other than that, the main thing is to tell us that you know, out of so many words a day,
encouraging someone only need a few words. So don't you feel really special if you're encouraged? :)
We have three kinds of encouragement - willingly, intentionally and compassionately.
Also, obstacles to encourage are just excuses.
Which i think it's often very true cos you have no reason to say that you don't know how, there can only be either you want to or not.
& encouragements can be in many many forms :
1. asking about the other partner (it shows you care and thus encourages)
2. taking out time to meet (it tells that you are willing to invest your time with the person)
3. through phone - sms/call
4. blog, msn, twitter

"Encouragement is powerful in your weakness, because that's where strength is made perfect."

Never underestimate the power of encouragement.
You'll never know when you'll need it.
And cherish them, because you'll never know how bad it would feel without it.

Awesome right.
